| Our new boat - SIMCA III |
Our new boat - SIMCA III is funded by
Conservation International Philippines under the
project title " Expansion of the enforcement and
sea turtle monitoring in Sugud Islands Marine
Conservation Area (SIMCA)". The boat designed
to be multi purposes. It can be a patrol boat, dive
boat and transfer boat. It is one of Reef
Guardian's strategy to increase enforcement
activity to reduce illegal fishing. Additionally the
boat can be use to generate more fund by transfer
resort guest to Sandakan mainland. The fund that
generated from the boat will be used to cover
boat fuel to carry out sea patrol within SIMCA.
