Sung Siew School & Green or Been (GOB) Team Presentation
27 August 2008
On 27th August 2008, Sung Siew School students and GOB Team members who participated in
Reef Guardian’s MEP gave an impressive presentation on marine conservation to the Junior Police
Call (JPC) members from Hong Kong and also WWF Hong Kong. This visit from Hong Kong by
JPC and WWF are intended to make possible information sharing between responsible youths
who are looking to make a difference. Sung Siew students also invited the JPC members to play
the Feeding Frenzy Game that demonstrated the importance of an MPA and also issues
concerning over-fishing.

The JPC Hong Kong was formed by the Hong Kong Police Force. It is a youth organization
intended to encourage and improve relationship between Police and youths of Hong Kong. The
members are provided with training in order to equip them as future leaders.

JPC members also gave a brief presentation sharing their experience in getting participation and
influencing the youths of Hong Kong. I think this information is beneficial for our students in
order for them to be role models (in regards to marine conservation) to others.

Good job Sung Siew & GOB!!
